Donations of stock and bonds

The fastest and easiest way to make a stock gift is to do an electronic transfer.  Your broker will need the following information:

DTC number: 2803 U.S. Bank N.A.

Account name: The Guild for Human Services

Account number: 001050984840

Brokerage: US Bank

The Guild Tax ID number: 04-2104849

Please provide the following:

  1. Name and mailing address
  2. Type of stock
  3. Number of shares

Additionally, you may choose to mail the unendorsed certificate(s) and a signed stock power (in separate envelopes) by registered mail to the following address:

Our policy is to sell donated stock as quickly as possible after receiving the transfer. Upon settlement, we will post the contribution to your account and send you a tax acknowledgment letter.
 

To ensure proper acknowledgment, please:

  1. Ask your broker to provide your name and address when shares are transferred
  2. Email Mark Green, Chief Advancement Officer, at mgreen@guildhumanservices.org to notify him of the securities you are donating.
