Laurel Simpson began working at The Guild in November of 2021 as a Speech and Language Therapist. Previously, she worked as a Speech Therapist beginning in August of 2007. Laurel earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and Hearing Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a graduate certificate in Assistive Technology from Bowling Green State University. She also holds an Inside Out Sensory Certification which allows her to assess students’ sensory processing needs. In her role at The Guild, Laurel enjoys being part of each individual’s path to a placement that fits their needs. In her free time, Laurel likes to play tennis with her husband, hike in the White Mountains, and enjoy sweets of all kinds!
