Lucas joined The Guild after most recently working at Valley Collaborative in Tyngsboro, Mass. There, he spent six years as a physical education teacher working with individuals K-PG with disabilities. He was also the district's mentor for other adapted physical education teachers in the schools, providing feedback through their first years of teaching. He developed a curriculum map for the APE department and engaged in various community-based recreation activities such as rock wall climbing, snowboarding and skateboarding. Lucas earned his master's in education from Springfield College in health and wellness.
