Maria Esna Castro began working at The Guild in July of 2021 as a Teacher Assistant. Previously, served as a Special Education Teacher in Costa Rica. At The Guild, she appreciates the diversity among both students and staff that contributes to a culture of mutual learning every day.
Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the Universidad de Costa Rica and a postgraduate degree in Diverse Learning. She also holds a technical degree in Early Stimulation and Neuroscience Applied to Educational Practice. In her free time, Maria likes to spend time in nature with her family and her dog, watch tv, and sleep!
