Nicole Picone began working at The Guild in May of 2024. She previously worked as an Occupational Therapist as a consultant in a non-profit providing home-based mental/behavioral health services to children and families. Nicole also worked in Early Intervention serving the needs of infants and toddlers in Boston. She earned a Master of Science and Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University. As part of the doctoral program, Nicole completed research on disaster preparedness and created a workshop on the integration of Occupational Therapists into emergency planning for special populations. She appreciates the opportunity to support clients at the Guild with achieving meaningful goals, and greater independence in their daily routines. In her free time, Nicole enjoys hiking in the Middlesex Fells, painting, reading novels, and scuba diving in Gloucester.
