Susan and Andy are thrilled to be hosting this event for the second consecutive year!
The evening will include a cocktail reception, a “Take Home the Cellar” wine tasting experience, new games with prizes, a buffet dinner, enjoyable conversation and a powerful program.
There is no cost to attend and 100% of all donations will benefit The Guild.
“Take Home the Cellar” tasting and additional games/prizes
For anyone who was not able to attend last year, you are in for a real treat. The Take Home the Cellar wine tasting is a truly unique experience.
Here are rules for this year’s Take Home the Cellar tasting:
- The tasting will occur between 5:30-7:00.
- We will have three categories: red, white, and bubbly.
- Every guest can nominate one wine. Wines must retail for $30 or less.
- Our generous hosts, Sue and Andy, will donate all of the wines for the event. (THANK YOU!!!)
- The red category will have a maximum of ten entries, the white and the bubbly categories will each have a maximum of three entries.
- If the actual number of nominations in each category exceeds the maximum, then Guild staff will randomly select wines from the nomination pool.
- All guests are welcome to participate and help rank the wines.
- If you nominated the wine selected as Best in Class for its category, you will take home a bottle of each wine that was included in that category!!!!!!
In addition to the Take Home the Cellar tasting, we will have a variety of other games and activities occurring between 5:30-7:00. There will be non-wine prizes to be won. There will be much to participate in, whether or not you are a wine enthusiast.
