Employee Training
When new employees take a position with The Guild, they receive a comprehensive orientation consisting of classroom instruction, interactive learning, observation, and guided practice at Guild program sites. Additional training is provided throughout the onboarding period. The Guild also offers a variety of ongoing professional development opportunities, both required and elective. Our staff gain the knowledge and skills that they need to provide excellent support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Staff Certification
The Guild offers trainings and certifications in person at our training center, as well as online through our learning management system. We provide core certifications in Medication Administration, First Aid, CPR, and CPI. We also offer online credentials and continuing education throughout the year. Employees are given the tools to stay up to date on the best practices in health and human services.
