Where there were once blank walls in The Guild’s first-floor conference rooms and administrative areas, beautiful landscapes and other paintings donated by a local arts center are now hanging.
Nine artists affiliated with The Umbrella Arts Center made in-kind gifts of their work to The Guild earlier this fall. Located at the former Emerson School at 40 Stow St., the Concord-based organization inspires creativity, learning and personal growth through arts education programs, performing and visual arts presentations, and community collaborations.
“We thank Carole Parrish and her fellow artists at The Umbrella Arts Center for their support of The Guild,” Guild CEO Amy C. Sousa says. “Their artwork has enriched our community’s space and will help our students build meaningful emotional connections to their surroundings.”
