The Guild Awarded Grant from The Sudbury Foundation to Create Sensory Friendly Spaces

The Guild for Human Services, which educates, encourages, and empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities, is pleased to announce that it was awarded a $20,000 grant from The Sudbury Foundation. The funds will be used to improve trauma-informed care and emotional well-being for students with intellectual disabilities when they experience distress by expanding access to sensory regulating materials and create sensory-friendly environments in The Guild School.

The Guild Awarded Federal Grant To Reduce or Eliminate the Use of Time-Out Rooms

The Guild for Human Services was recently awarded a $74,907 federal grant through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) to reduce or eliminate the use of time-out rooms. The funds will allow The Guild School to expand the number of inclusive and welcoming open spaces and enhance the overall learning environment.

The Guild Receives Grant from Dedham Savings to Purchase Standby Generator for Walpole House

The Guild for Human Services has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Dedham Savings Community Foundation. The funds will be used to purchase a new emergency generator in case of power outages or emergencies at its Walpole House residence. The grant is part of Dedham Savings’ Community Foundation Grant program, which invests in organizations whose work benefits underserved populations in communities served by Dedham Savings.

The Guild has been awarded a $17,000 grant from the Sudbury Foundation. The funds will be used to purchase a new emergency generator in case of power outages or emergencies at its Sudbury House residence. The grant is part of The Sudbury Foundation’s Sudbury Program, which invests in quality of life issues for underserved citizens.

The Guild Receives Allison Keller Education Technology Grant from Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism

The Guild for Human Services is pleased to announce it has received a $4,984 Allison Keller Education Technology grant from the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism. The grant will support The Guild’s Vocational Services department in teaching students critical employment-based skills.  

Mark Green Joins The Guild as Chief Advancement Officer

Mark Green joined The Guild for Human Services as Chief Advancement Officer on February 1, 2023. In this role, he will work closely with The Guild’s senior team to lead the organization’s philanthropic revenue growth and build a comprehensive development program. Mark looks forward to launching The Guild’s major and leadership gifts program, cultivating prospective donors, and stewarding current and future funders to ensure The Guild’s sustained financial success.

The Guild Receives Grant from M&T Bank Charitable Foundation to Purchase Standby Generator for Willow House

The Guild for Human Services, a nonprofit serving individuals with intellectual disabilities, is pleased to announce that it was awarded a $7,500 grant from M&T Bank Charitable Foundation. The funds will be used to purchase a new 22,000-Watt Standby Generator in case of power outages or emergencies at its Willow House residence in Waltham, Massachusetts.
